Allyson Doty, Certified Residential Appraiser

Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana as a die hard Hoosier, Allyson started her Indianapolis journey directly after high school, at Butler University. Exploring her options and enjoying life away from home, it was then that she decided to finish her degree at IUPUI with a bachelor's degree in Tourism, Convention and Events Management. Working in the event industry and hotel industry in Indianapolis, Allyson learned what charm and energy the city of Indianapolis had to offer and ultimately fell in love with it. 

After some time in the event industry, Allyson realized that she was ready for a new direction. It was then that her father, an appraiser in Bloomington, introduced her to the real estate appraisal industry. Quickly after becoming his apprentice, she soon learned that this was the field she wanted to be in. After completing her training in Bloomington alongside her father, Allyson moved back to Indianapolis to begin her career there. She was hired on with Truex Appraisal Services, who taught her the ins and outs of the Indianapolis market. It wasn't long after in 2015 that she was ready to be on her own as Doty Appraisals. 

Allyson and her husband Rob live in the Midtown neighborhood and are very active in the community. They spend much of their time between Broad Ripple and the Mass Ave district hanging with friends and family. They love to travel, play golf, enjoy time with friends and family, try new restaurants, and complete their many home projects. They began fostering children in 2023 and have continued with their journey to this day in hopes of expanding their family. Allyson hopes to continue to serve the Indianapolis community with all their appraisal needs!
